The 'shade' name gives homage to the bunch of designers that came together to create these sneakers. Adding black to any colour makes the resulting colour a shade of the original in design terms. For example, brown is a shade of red.
Shade is the darker better half of our first drop: Tint & Shade. The BOLD Black colorway is for our all black boys, jeans, formal, informal and pretty much anywhere else you wanna wear. They were right when they said, "Once you go black, you can't go back." Pretty they meant black sneakers by that.
